HOW DOES THE PROOF PROCESS WORK?

• Once order is placed it is assigned to an artist for 1 on 1 Relationship (this allows for immediate response & edits)
• THIS IS THE FASTEST WAY to GET A PROOF - RISK FREE (Immediate Refund at Any Point. No Questions Asked)
• Production within 0-24 hours of Art Approval on most orders

CAN I SEE A PROOF Before I Place an Order?

• Yes, but it is the SLOWEST way to get a proof - it can be up to 72 hours
• Why this long? Because we address in house orders first and is dependent on workload
• We will provide 1 PROOF to show scale, font style and set up, changes can be made after the order has been placed

WHAT ITEMS GET A PROOF?

• Automatically Get Proofs - Glass, Art Glass, Acrylic, Plaques, Crystal, Custom Medals, Outdoor Signs, Perpetual Awards, Vince Fantasy Footballs, Clocks, Pen Sets, Gavels, Custom Gifts, Drinkware
• DO NOT get proofs (Unless Requested) - Medal Orders Under 24 pieces - Sport or Activity Trophy Orders Under 24 Pieces
• Proofs are sent for trophy orders over 24 pieces
• Proofs are sent for medal orders over 24 pieces
• Proofs are sent for order subtotals over $75

WHEN DO I GET MY PROOF?

• Orders Proofed in 24 hours (M-F). Up to 48 hours for orders with more than 1 week delivery time or greater than 25 pieces
• Orders placed after Friday at 2 PM EST and on the weekends will be proofed that Monday or Tuesday
• SAME DAY RUSH SERVICE orders will be proofed in 1-2 Hours (must be approved by 3pm EST to ship same day, unless agreement is made with artist)
• SAME DAY RUSH SERVICE if no response from customer, at artist discretion to have 2 artists proofread the submitted engraving for accuracy and ship out as proofed to meet date needed. Crystal, Glass, Acrylics, Plaques, Drinkware, and Custom Gifts will not be returnable. Artists will use both email and phone provided to contact before choosing this option. 

PROOF APPROVAL

• It is the customers responsibility to check Proofs for typographical errors. Please check them thoroughly. Although most proofs are correct our artists are making Hundreds per day per artist under a time constraint. 
• Production begins after proof approval, delays to approval can cause delays in production
• Once these are approved most items go to production that day and the responsibility is the customer who has approved the proofs.
• These can be re-ordered at the product wholesale price to replace if an error was approved.

ENGRAVING

• Engraving on acrylic, glass and Crystal is engraved on the back to provide depth, unless piece is greater than 1 inch thick
• Engraving for art glass is not engraved directly onto the piece. It is a plate attached to the base
• All Engraving is FREE on the initial order, except for medals which have an engraving charge per medal. Any perpetual plates there is a charge after the first order.

SHIPPING POLICY 

What to take into consideration when Choosing Shipping:

• 95%+ orders ship within 2 business days of placing the order
• Orders that require proofs could take an extra day
• Most proofs Arrive 0-24 hrs and up to 48 hours if order over 24 pieces
• Weekends do not count as production days
• We ship from Connecticut
• If there is an attempt to deliver by UPS or USPS and there is an issue please contact the shipping service (your local UPS or USPS) to arrange or hold package for pickup with provided tracking
• Same Day Awards cannot track packages once they leave here due to shipping volume

FLAT RATE SHIPPING
$11.99 to the Lower 48 States
This generally will ship the most economical way

If you need it for a hard deadline do NOT choose this service.
It is the slowest way and designed for customers who have time before their events.
If Flat rate shipping will not meet your stated due date listed we will attempt to contact you. If we cannot get in touch with you to offer a ship upgrade we will ship the method chosen by you. The customer is responsible to choose the shipping that meets their needs.

FREE SHIPPING

Any orders totaling $95 ship FREE to the lower 48 States
This is a slower method and can take from 3-8 days depending on customer location (WE SHIP FROM CONNECTICUT)
If FREE shipping will not meet your stated due date listed we will attempt to contact you. If we cannot get in touch with you to offer a ship upgrade we will ship the method chosen by you. The customer is responsible to choose the shipping that meets their needs.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING TO CANADA
Same Day will contact you with best rates and delivery dates available
This will be invoiced separately International Orders will not be shipped Until Shipping Invoice is Paid

UPS EXPRESS SERVICES
If you have chosen items from the Same Day Section you must choose from the below shipping options to qualify for our Same Day Service Guarantee:
UPS Next Day Air - most businesses by both 10:30 A.M. and 12:00 P.M.
UPS 2 DAY Air – two business day delivery to every address throughout the continental U.S. by C.O.B.
UPS 3 DAY Select - 3 Business days for packages within the contiguous 48 United States
Same Day Awards LLC is not responsible for weather delays effecting UPS Air Services (Next Day Air, 2 Day Air, and 3 Day Select) and are not refundable. Awards that do NOT arrive on time by UPS for any reason are NOT refundable by Same Day Awards. The shipping portion is refundable if the guaranteed chosen method was chosen and paid for. Same Day Awards guarantees it will ship the order by the day agreed upon by the method you chose but the ultimate risk lies with the purchaser.

UPS GROUND SERVICES
UPS Ground – Accurate delivery estimates 1-5 business days (please refer to UPS shipping calculator for more accurate measurement to your zip code, we ship the majority of our orders from 06074)
During storm seasons across the US UPS may not be as accurate and on occasion are delays. So please make sure you choose the shipping to leave you time for your event.
Ultimately the customer is responsible for choosing the correct mode of shipping and shipping speed cannot be changed once it has been picked up by the carrier.

Shipping EXCEPTIONS

• Same Day Awards LLC is not responsible for any delay affecting UPS Services (Next Day Air, 2 Day Air, and 3 Day Select or UPS Ground and are not refundable. Awards that do NOT arrive on time by UPS are NOT refundable by Same Day Awards. The shipping portion is refundable if the guaranteed chosen method was chosen and paid for. It is always best to give a time cushion in the unlikely delay of products from UPS.
• Same Day Awards will provide your tracking information on all orders but cannot track packages or contact the shipper on behalf of the customer
• Same Day Awards LLC will replace awards damaged in shipping, typographical errors made by our artists (this does not apply to approved proofs) or wrong products by the same service originally ordered. (i.e. an order using 2 Day Air will be replaced with 2 Day Air). So please ensure you leave yourself extra time.
• Any additional upgrades to meet a deadline will be incurred by the customer, so please consider when ordering close to your event day
• Open your boxes up immediately upon receiving them in the unlikely event of damage. This must be reported to SDA for replacement within 48 hrs of delivery. In the event any awards arrive broken any the customer needs to upgrade to rush services 50% will be paid by the customer and SDA will incur the other 50%. All awards are professionally wrapped and leave our facility in pristine condition. Otherwise, the replacement trophy will be shipped in the same manner as the original order. The customer incurs the risk when placing orders last minute of breakage by shipper enroute and SDA cannot incur upgraded Express shipping charges more than 50% so plan accordingly and understand this is a risk of waiting last minute.
• Any award received that is in error must be opened and reported within 48 hrs of delivery to insure timely receipt of replacement. Any awards that were delivered and reported within the 48 hr grace period will be replaced the same manner as the original order. Any rush services will paid 50% by the customer and SDA will incur the other 50%. 
• This breakage and error guarantee is only available for damage reported in the first 48 hours after delivery, please open boxes immediately upon arrival and inspect contents to report damage promptly. Damage reported after this grace period is not eligible for the guarantee and customer will be responsible for total replacement cost of items and shipping. 
• SAME DAY AWARDS ships UPS and USPS. If your company uses its own shipper or account there is a 15% handling fee for packaging and paperwork.

SAME DAY POLICY

How do I decide what service to choose?

• All same day orders are shipped from our CT warehouse, please note this when selecting shipping method at checkout
• Items in our Same Day Section are available to ship same day, those outside this category may have a production delay of 1-2 days, Same Day Items are recommended for RUSH orders
• When you have over 24+ Corporate pieces the proofs could take from 1-3 days depending on factory capacity - then 1-2 day in production so factor that in
• If you are in a situation where it MUST SHIP TODAY we have the largest inventory of awards that can leave fully engraved this very day!
• Orders are processed business days M-F, orders placed after 2pm Friday or on the weekend will be proofed/processed on Monday

Any orders over 25+ Pieces should be in by 8 AM EST, production time dependent on order details 

Orders of 10-25 Pieces by 9:30 AM EST

Orders of 5-9 Pieces by 10:30 PM EST

Orders of 1-5 Pieces by 12 PM EST

• after this cut off we CAN NOT guarantee SAME DAY SERVICE unless you call or email to speak to our team directly
• All others please reach out to our customer service team to see if we can accommodate, Small orders placed after the cut-off may be accepted based on production volume

Our order volume is historically highest from May 1- July 3 and Oct 1-Dec 1, please note that same day service cut-off times may be impacted by high production volume.

What you can expect from SAME DAY SERVICE:

• Once your order is placed, it is assigned to an artist who will reach out to you by the email provided at checkout with a proof for your review
• Logo files should be high resolution (300dpi+ preferred), insufficient files may impact proof/production speed. We accept PNG, PDF, JPG, and occasionally we can use EPS files. (For engraving words, we can accept word lists, however please provide the logo as a separate file). 
• Proof turnaround for Rush orders is generally within 90 mins during business hours M-F
• Proofs must be approved by 3pm EST to ship same day unless otherwise informed by your artist

UPS does not count weekends in its transit days, Saturday delivery is available to select locations through your artist for an additional fee

This includes extreme weather or acts of Nature that prevent planes from flying.
